After 3 different proposals, one of which would have moved Jadzia’s new school from the end of the block to another city entirely, the school board voted unanimously the leave the school where it is. They also offered new money to renovate, which will fulfill another request the school had made.

Trillian Pro

I bought Trillian Pro recently, and I was able to solve a little quirk on IRC (auto-join and stuff) with some help yesterday. Now the change is complete for me. I can connect with multiple IM protocols (AIM, Yahoo!, MSN Messenger, ICQ, and IRC chat rooms), and I can organise my contacts the way I want to. The Pro version offers something called Meta-Contacts, which allows you to take one person’s multiple accounts on the different protocols, and place them in one contact entry on your contect list. Everything can be organised into sub-groups, making things easier to find.

Get Trillian, the ultimate instant messenger!

How could I ever go back to MSN after this?

Titles as images

A nice little plugin that creates images from the title of entries. The font I chose is OK, but there must be better than this. The search is on!

Missile defence and fallout from it

I say that point alone is fair, because no one should be forced to sell to anyone they don’t wish to. But he also freely admits that he has blocked selling to French Canadians for years, and now has decided to exclude the whole country. See site.

Why no sales to Canada?

Due to the hatred toward Americans and the American way of life exhibited by the Canadian government et al, we do not wish to promote or sell our products and services into Canada.

Until Canada allows the US to fully deploy our North American Anti-Missile Defense system fully in order to protect BOTH Canada and the United States, we will not sell across the Canadian border nor promote our products therein.

And his post: (more…)
